Job summary

Mi Equipment (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Management System Executive to assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the ISO 9001 QMS in Malaysia. You will manage document control, write clear technical documents and support internal audits with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering/software, 1–3 years of related experience, and strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Software/Engineering required.
• 1 year (Junior) or 3 years (Senior) of related experience.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, research, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Self-independent, dynamic, positive attitude, creative and able to work in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist superior in ensuring QMS ISO 9001 established, implemented and maintained.
• Ensure document and data control system per ISO 9001.
• Create or revise high-quality readable documents meeting requirements.
• Review document clarity for spelling, language, syntax, and accuracy.
• Represent department in cross-functional teams with technicians, engineers and project leaders.
• Conduct research on technical features and documentation usability.
• Develop working knowledge of technical products and conduct trainings.
• Maintain and update documentation, records, files and revision for traceability.
• Develop and support best practices for consistent implementation.
• Support audits: coordinate, review non-conformities, implement corrective actions.
• Improve QMS process effectiveness and efficiency.
• Undertake duties with timely closure as assigned.
• Process automation tasks: create and improve front-end and back-end automation frameworks
• Update internal teams on status of requests or portal issues.
• Identify deficiencies and provide solutions and improvements.
• Senior Executive: guide juniors in document prep/processing and provide coaching.

Job description

Assist superior in ensuring the company’s Quality Management System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard

Ensuring the company’s document and data control system in accordance with ISO 9001 standard

Create or revise high quality readable documents and meeting applicable requirements

Review required documents clarity in terms of spelling, language, syntax error, sentence structure, accuracy, completeness and quality of the document

Represent department as a member of cross-functional team, collaborate with technicians, engineers and project leader to produce documentation based on established deadlines or milestone

Conduct research and studies on technical required features and software or documentation usability

Develop working knowledge of technical products and conduct training when is required

Maintain and update documentation, records, files and revision for easy traceability. Document type include user manual, work instruction, guidelines, SOPs, forms and other applicable documents

Develop/support best practices and drive for consistent implementation

Support external and internal quality audit activities – coordinate or perform audits, compile findings, review non-conformities response, perform corrective action effectiveness review and closure verification

Continuing improve QMS process effectiveness and efficiency

Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure

Process automation related job descriptions as assigned by superior:

Create and improve front-end and backend automation frameworks applications

Update internal concerned team in a timely manner regarding the status of new request or existing system portal issues, if any

Identify deficiencies as well as providing solutions and improvement in current processes and technologies

Senior Executive

Guide juniors for document preparation/processing with quality output

Provide efficient guidance and coaching to team members on good documentation practices

Job Requirements

Candidate must process at least Diploma (Junior)/Bachelor’s Degree (Senior) in Software Engineering, Computer & Communication Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent

With at least 1 year (Junior)/3 years (Senior) of working experience in related field

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be added advantage
