Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager in Malaysia to lead the quality function across EMS/manufacturing operations. You will oversee QC activities, drive continuous improvement, mentor the quality team, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer specifications.

The role requires 5+ years in quality management, strong analytical and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in EMS/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and RBA Code of Conduct.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily QC activities and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Oversee inspection plans, checklists and product specifications.
• Monitor quality performance, analyze trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with internal teams and customers to resolve quality issues and corrective actions.
• Lead, coach and develop the Quality team.
• Support NPI, process validation and improvement of high defect/failure rates.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, RCA and CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with management systems and code of conduct.
