Job summary

V.S. Industry Berhad Malaysia seeks a quality management professional to oversee QC activities, ensure compliance with procedures and inspection plans, and monitor quality performance across EMS/manufacturing.

You will lead a quality team, drive continuous improvement, support NPI and process validation, and implement corrective actions (8D, RCA, CAPA) while upholding ISO standards and the RBA code of conduct. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management in EMS or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of management systems and conduct codes (ISO 9001/14001/27001 and RBA).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Oversee execution of inspection plans and ensure compliance with checklists and specifications.
• Monitor quality performance, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers on quality issues, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead, train, and motivate the quality team to achieve quality objectives.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and improvement of high defect/failure rates.
• Drive structured problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, RCA, CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with management systems and code of conduct.
