Job summary

Eurovista Technology Sdn Bhd seeks a Document Control Officer Cum FA QA Engineer to manage ISO-aligned document control and quality records. You will maintain policies, procedures, forms, and drawings, ensuring accessibility and up-to-date revisions across locations.

You will assist QA Manager with audits, prepare comprehensive FAIR reports, and collaborate with engineering, production, and design teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Educational Level: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Work Experience: 1–2 years in Quality, in sheet metal fabrication.
• Quality systems knowledge: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO 13485.
• Root cause analysis methods: 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa.
• CAPA and corrective actions.
• Auditing: internal and external.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 8D, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA and PPAP.
• Experience in sheet metal, CNC machining, fabrication or precision manufacturing is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement document control for ISO standards and records.
• Maintain and update quality documentation (policies, procedures, forms, WIs, drawings).
• Withdraw obsolete documents and manage retention.
• Review, approve, distribute, and archive documents and forms.
• Conduct regular document evaluations for improvements.
• Prepare FAIR reports for customers and KPI data.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and design to meet quality across the lifecycle.
• Assist QA Manager with audits and quality system maintenance.

Document Control Officer Cum FA QA Engineer

Establish and implement the control of documents and quality of records, for business process owners and manufacturing process owners, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Maintain and update quality documentations such as policies, procedures, forms, work of instructions, drawings, product and process specifications, registrar of master lists to the latest revision, track of records, and that these documents are made available at all locations.

Obsolete documents shall be withdrawn and dispose within records of retention period.

Control of documents including creation of forms, review, approval, distribution, retrieving, system of filing and archiving.

Conduct regular evaluations of document to identify areas for improvement.

Spearhead quality performance tracker, quality metrics data for KPI report and slide preparation.

Assist QA Manager in implementation of all kind of audit.

Any other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Design and establish quality control standards and procedures to ensure that products meet the required specifications and customer expectations.

Prepare a detailed & comprehensive FAIR report for the customer.

Work closely with engineering, production, and design teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.

Assist QA Manager to ensure compliance for the implementation and maintenance of quality systems in accordance with customer, internal, ISO Standard, and regulatory/ legal requirements.

Able to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure products meet design specifications.

Qualification and Education:

Educational Level: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.

Work Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of experience in Quality, specifically within sheet metal fabrication.

Quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO 13485, depending on the industry)

Root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa)

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

External and Internal Auditing

Strong in FAI Report

Knowledge of ISO 9001, 8D, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA and PPAP.

Experience in sheet metal, CNC machining, fabrication or precision manufacturing is an added advantage.

Good command of English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
