Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance and control within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across departments.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements.
• Certification in CPQE, CQE, or CSQE is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, standards, and testing protocols to ensure regulatory requirements and specifications are met.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes, equipment, and products to identify defects and non-conformities.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement CAPA to resolve recurring issues.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to optimise processes and reduce waste and defects.
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports for traceability and compliance.
• Coordinate with external audits and regulatory bodies to ensure ISO and other certifications.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report to management with improvement recommendations.
• Investigate customer complaints and product failures, documenting findings and implementing preventive actions.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join NOTION INTERNATIONAL (M) SDN. BHD. in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes across our production facilities. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering excellence and maintaining our reputation as a trusted manufacturer in the logistics and transport sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, standards, and testing protocols to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and company specifications
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, equipment, and finished products to identify potential defects and non-conformities
• Perform comprehensive root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve recurring problems
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimise manufacturing processes and minimise waste and defects
• Maintain detailed quality documentation, records, and reports to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards
• Liaise with external quality auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable certifications
• Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, providing regular reports to management and recommending improvements
• Investigate customer complaints and product failures, documenting findings and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
