Job summary

Hon Chuan Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, is hiring a full-time Quality Controller Inspector to safeguard the quality of manufacturing processes and end products. You will conduct on-site inspections, ensure IPQC compliance, and manage non-conforming items, reporting to the QA/QC Executive.

Diploma in Science or Food Technology is required, with GMP/FSSC 22000 knowledge preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome, and shift work is expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and conduct on-site production inspections/audits.
• Report quality deviations to the QA/QC Executive.
• Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and standards (IPQC).
• Manage non-conforming products and track rework/release status.
• Perform secondary verification for quarantined products after rework.
• Support CAPA implementation and root cause analysis.
• Assist IQC by inspecting raw materials against acceptance criteria.
• Maintain sample retention system and periodic inventory.
• Contribute to departmental KPI achievement in production and quality.

About the role Hon Chuan Malaysia Sdn Bhd' is seeking a full-time Quality Controller Inspector to join our team in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our manufacturing processes and end products, playing a crucial part in upholding our commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

Monitor and conduct on-site production inspections/audits; report all quality-related deviations to the QA/QC Executive.

Ensure finished products strictly adhere to customer specifications and technical standards through rigorous IPQC protocols.

Manage non-conforming products; conduct inspections and track status for rejected or reworked items to prevent accidental release.

Perform secondary quality verification and final decision-making for quarantined products post-rework.

Support the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and assist in root cause analysis.

Assist in Incoming Quality Control (IQC) by inspecting raw materials against established acceptance criteria.

Implement and maintain the sample retention system, including systematic recording and periodic inventory.

Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs in production, quality, and management objectives.

Execute other duties or re-allocations as assigned by the QA Supervisor or Executive.

What we're looking for

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Science or Food Technology or equivalent.

Preferably with understanding in GMP, FSSC 22000.

Fresh Graduates are also taken into consideration.
