Job summary

Adventa Healthcare Sdn Bhd is hiring for Senior and Junior QA/QC professionals to join our quality team at our Selayang, Selangor facility. This full-time role safeguards product quality and regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations, offering opportunities to mentor junior staff for seniors and to contribute to quality strategies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, food science, biology, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality control environment, preferably healthcare/pharma.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation of inspections/tests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Perform laboratory analysis and testing per SOPs and quality specs.
• Document inspection and testing results and maintain quality records.
• Identify non-conformances and initiate CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and quality policies.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
• Senior level: mentor junior staff and lead quality strategies; conduct root cause analysis for product defects.

About the Role

We are seeking both Senior and Junior Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) professionals to join our quality team at our facility in Selayang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in safeguarding product quality and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As a member of our QA/QC team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing operations. Whether you are joining as a Senior QA/QC professional bringing extensive experience or as a Junior QA/QC specialist beginning your career in quality assurance, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering safe and effective healthcare products.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role will vary depending on your level of experience and seniority:

• Conducting routine and non-routine quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Performing laboratory analysis and testing in accordance with established standard operating procedures and quality specifications
• Documenting inspection and testing results accurately and maintaining comprehensive quality records
• Identifying non-conformances and deviations from quality standards, and initiating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and company quality policies
• Preparing quality reports and presenting findings to management
• Senior level: Mentoring junior QA/QC staff, overseeing quality procedures, and contributing to the development and implementation of quality strategies
• Senior level: Conducting root cause analysis and leading investigation into product defects or failures

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, food science, biology, or related discipline
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately perform and record inspection and testing activities
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment and laboratory instruments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities

Preferred experience:

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), ISO 9001, or equivalent quality standards
• Experience with quality management systems and documentation software
• For Senior positions: Minimum of 5+ years in QA/QC roles with demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
• For Senior positions: Knowledge of validation, verification, and change control processes
