About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join ABLECOM TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality across our manufacturing operations. As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous inspections and tests to verify that all products meet our stringent quality specifications and regulatory requirements. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections using established quality standards and procedures
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to identify defects, variations, and non-conformances
• Operate and maintain quality control equipment and testing instruments with precision and accuracy
• Document inspection results and maintain comprehensive quality records in accordance with company procedures
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and quality documentation for traceability and compliance purposes
• Identify and report quality issues to production supervisors and quality management teams promptly
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Conduct statistical analysis and trending of quality data to identify patterns and areas for improvement
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and quality enhancement programmes
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality policies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a QC Inspector or in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and quality standards (such as ISO 9001)
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment, measuring instruments, and testing tools
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and variations accurately
• Solid understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and dimensional tolerances
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate quality issues effectively
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with quality management systems and documentation
• Physical ability to perform inspection duties, including standing for extended periods and handling components
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical certification or diploma in quality assurance is advantageous
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis is preferred
