Job summary

Deye New Energy Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. invites a qualified QA/Quality Assurance Leader to drive product quality across the assembly and testing lines. You will supervise quality control processes, define testing plans, and ensure compliance with company standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in quality management in manufacturing, fluency in Mandarin/English/Malay, and willingness to train at our China headquarters for six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Eng., Quality Management, or related STEM field.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay; Mandarin is required for client communication.
• 5+ years in quality management, product design, or testing in assembly and testing; 3+ years in final assembly inspection; 3+ years in process inspection management.
• Proficient in quality management methods, auditing, and basic quality tools; strong leadership and planning skills.
• Mastery of quality tools including TS five tools and QC seven tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address inspection results.
• You can receive 6 months of training at the China headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in production process QC and handle quality anomalies.
• Develop testing workflows and overall testing plans.

• Organize and guide inspection of in-process products; monitor quality at each step.
• Organize inspections of workshop processes; select testing methods/tools.
• Control quality anomalies to prevent non-conforming products; propose improvements.
• Analyze quality data and assist in customer complaints and root-cause analysis.
• Manage environment of the assigned area; maintain instruments and records.
• Review major anomalies; implement corrective/preventive actions and reliability improvements.
• Analyze customer quality complaints and conduct investigations as needed.
• Publish quality reports and develop inspection standards.

1. Lead the team in production process quality control, handle internal and external quality anomalies, ensure product quality meets requirements, supervise and verify the formulation and implementation of quality improvement measures, and continuously improve internal and external quality performance;

2. Develop effective testing workflows and continuously improve them, and formulate overall testing plans;

3. Develop product inspection plans based on actual production conditions, organize and carry out inspection work, and control inspection quality and efficiency;

4. Organize and guide the inspection of in-process products. 5. Organize inspections of the workshop production process and monitor the process quality of each step; develop suitable and compliant testing methods and select appropriate testing tools based on product characteristics;

6. Control product quality anomalies during manufacturing, prevent the outflow of non-conforming products, and propose effective improvement suggestions and opinions for anomalies;

7. Analyze quality inspection data, compile quality analysis reports, and assist in customer complaints, non-conformity investigations, and root cause analysis;

8. Manage the overall environment of the assigned area, maintain and manage the use of inspection instruments and measuring equipment, and manage the standardization and traceability of inspection labels and records;

9. Review major quality anomalies occurring on the product line; be responsible for the root cause analysis, corrective and preventative measures for product quality problems, and handling customer complaints; improve product reliability, assist in resolving major and systemic product problems, and promote technological optimization;

10. Analyze and handle customer quality complaints (quality opinions);

11. Regularly evaluate and publish quality reports; be responsible for compiling inspection standards and specifications based on the company's technical standards.

Job Qualifications

1. Major: Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science, or other related STEM fields;

2. Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay; Mandarin speaking is a MUST to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

3. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, product design, or testing within the assembly and testing industry; minimum 3 years of experience in final assembly process inspection; minimum 3 years of experience in process inspection management;

4. Proficient in using quality management methods and tools to solve problems; skilled in process auditing and auditing techniques; proficient in basic quality management tools and knowledge; strong management skills; strong quality planning and implementation capabilities; preference will be given to candidates with ISO9001 National Registered Auditor Qualification, TS16949 National Registered Auditor Qualification, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.;

5. Master and be able to skillfully use quality management tools to solve practical problems, including but not limited to: TS five tools, QC seven tools, etc.;

6. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to scientifically analyze process inspection results and promptly and effectively address problems encountered during the inspection process.

7. You can receive 6 months of training at the China headquarters.
