Job summary

KCSS Wiremesh Sdn Bhd, established since 1990 and located in Ipoh, is seeking a Quality Control professional to monitor and control product quality throughout production. You will perform in-process and final inspections, verify results, and coordinate corrective actions with Production and QA teams.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, independence, and teamwork to ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control product quality during production.
• Perform in-process and final inspection.
• Ensure products meet drawing, specification and customer requirements.
• Review and verify QC inspection results and records.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate with Production for corrective action.
• Handle non-conforming products and follow up on corrective actions.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints.
• Prepare and maintain QC reports and quality records.
• Monitor and ensure proper use and calibration of inspection equipment.
• Guide and supervise QC assistant and inspectors in daily inspection activities.
• Coordinate with Production, QA and other departments on quality matters.
• Ensure QC procedures, work instructions and inspection standards are followed.
• Handle SIRIM and CIDB audit. Support improvement activities and R&D projects
• Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
