Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC Inspector to conduct daily quality inspections across the production line and verify materials and finished products against specifications.

Role involves sampling, measurement, and basic quality tests, with emphasis on GMP, hygiene, and food safety adherence in a manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Food Science or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety is an advantage.
• Able to perform routine inspection, checking and documentation accurately.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality inspections and monitoring throughout the production process.
• Perform checking and verification of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress and finished products according to established specifications.
• Carry out product sampling, inspection, measurement and basic quality testing as required.
• Monitor product quality including appearance, weight, size, packaging, labelling and other specified quality parameters.
• Ensure production activities comply with GMP, hygiene, food safety and quality requirements.
• Monitor cleanliness, personal hygiene and housekeeping practices in the production area.
• Identify, segregate and report any non-conforming products, materials or processes to the QC Executive / superior immediately.
• Ensure all QC inspection forms, checklists and records are accurately completed and properly maintained.
• Assist in monitoring product coding, expiry dates, packaging condition and labelling accuracy.
• Conduct line clearance and production area checking where required.
• Assist in collecting samples for laboratory testing, retention samples or other quality verification purposes.
• Follow up with Production personnel on quality issues and corrective actions as instructed by the superior.
• Assist the QA/QC team during internal audits, external audits and customer audits when required.
• Comply with the Company’s food safety, quality, hygiene, safety and other established procedures.
• Perform any other QC-related duties assigned by the superior or Management.
