ALL BE CONNECT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern in Bayan Lepas, Penang, contract position. You will work with our QA team to test software, learn QA processes, and contribute to high-quality digital solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects.
• Document bugs with clear steps and repro details.
• Participate in test planning and strategy with QA team.
• Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements.
• Assist in maintaining test cases and scripts.
• Support process improvements in QA practices.

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to join ALL BE CONNECT SDN. BHD., a forward-thinking organisation in the Information & Communication Technology sector. This is a contract position based in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and services. You will work alongside experienced QA professionals to develop your technical expertise and contribute meaningfully to our testing initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in software testing and quality assurance within a professional IT environment.

Key responsibilities

Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality standards are met

Document and report bugs and issues using tracking systems, providing clear descriptions and reproduction steps

Participate in test planning and strategy development with the QA team

Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing on applications and software products

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and validate solutions

Support the creation and maintenance of test cases, test scripts, and test documentation

Assist in identifying improvements to testing processes and quality assurance procedures

Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and edge cases

What we're looking for

Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies

Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues

Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles

Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Problem-solving mindset with a logical approach to testing and troubleshooting

Experience with test automation tools or scripting languages is advantageous but not essential

Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in a professional environment
