Fraser & Neave (F&N) seeks a proactive Quality Assurance Intern to support the QA Department in ensuring product compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

The intern will assist in daily quality checks, focusing on online process checks and microbiological testing, while gaining practical experience in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to GMP/HACCP/Halal and ISO 22000 practices.

Qualifications

• Proactive and detail-oriented QA intern to support QA in manufacturing.
• Assist in online quality checking, microbiological testing and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Halal and ISO 22000 concepts in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting routine in-process quality checks on production lines.
• Support production personnel in recording and monitoring product parameters (weight, appearance, seal integrity, labeling).
• Ensure production complies with SOPs and quality specifications.
• Highlight deviations or non-conformances to QA Executive/QA Manager immediately.
• Support in sampling and preparation of products, water, and environment swabs for microbiological testing.
• Assist in carrying out basic microbiological analysis (TPC, Yeast & Mould, Coliform).
• Maintain cleanliness and GLP in the microbiological lab.
• Assist in recording and updating test results in lab data sheets or system.
• Assist during internal and external audits; prepare QA-related documents and samples.
• Participate in quality improvement projects or initiatives led by the QA department.
• Provide feedback on quality issues observed during checks.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Intern to support our Quality Assurance (QA) Department in ensuring product compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The intern will assist in daily quality checking activities, focusing on online process checks and microbiological testing, while gaining practical experience in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Online Quality Checking Support

• Assist in conducting routine in-process quality checks on production lines.
• Support production personnel in record and monitor product parameters (e.g., weight, appearance, seal integrity, labelling accuracy).
• Ensure production complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality specifications.
• Highlight any deviations or non-conformances to QA Executive/QA Manager immediately.

2. Microbiological Testing Assistance

• Support in sampling and preparation of products, water, and environment swabs for microbiological testing.
• Assist in carrying out basic microbiological analysis, including Total Plate Count (TPC), Yeast & Mould, and Coliform testing.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the microbiological lab, following good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Assist in recording and updating test results in laboratory data sheets or system.

3. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Assist in compiling, organizing, and updating QA records .Help in filing and archiving test results for traceability and audits

4. Support in Audits and Compliance

• Assist during internal and external audits
• Prepare and organize QA-related documents and samples for audit purposes.
• Participate in quality improvement projects or initiatives led by the QA department.
• Provide feedback on quality issues observed during checks.
