Job summary

Kemikon Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Management professional to establish and develop the QMS, writing procedures and supporting its implementation.

The role will lead internal audits across the business and provide training to champion the QMS. You will drive continuous improvement in quality assurance, ensuring adherence to company policy and coordinating corrective/preventive actions with other departments.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or quality assurance.
• Experience in quality related to machining or metal fabrication preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and 8D methodology.
• Strong teamwork, time management and issue management.

Responsibilities

• Open the Quality Management System and write procedures to support its development.
• Lead and conduct audits across the business.
• Provide training and champion the QMS.
• Drive continuous improvement and QA processes to meet company policy.
• Close and update corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances with other departments.

• Responsible for opening the Quality Management System (QMS),writing procedures and processes to support the QMS development.
• Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business in the Company.
• Provide training and champion the Quality Management System.
• In charge of continuous improvement and developing process of Quality Assurance in meeting the company objective and quality policy.
• Accountable to close & update internal or external effective corrective action & preventative action to any off specification or non conformance with other department.

Requirements

• Degree holders in engineering, quality assurance
• 5 years experience in Quality related to machining or metal fabrication.
• Knowledge with ISO 9001:2008.
• Demonstrated experience on 8D methodology and strong problem solving tools/skills. (brainstorming, fishbone, 5W’s, etc)
• Strong in team organizational skill, issue management, teamwork and effective time management
