Job summary

Intretech Malaysia, a global EMS/CM leader, seeks a high-calibre QMS Assistant Manager to lead the Quality Management System across our fast-growing operation in Johor Bahru. You will shape systems, influence culture and drive world-class quality standards in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on QMS leadership, audit management, CAPA and continuous improvement, with exposure to multi-standard frameworks (ISO, IATF, ISO13485). Strong strategic execution is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing.
• 5–10 years in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with multi-standard QMS frameworks.
• Proven audit management, CAPA and system improvement experience.
• Experience with e-QMS, statistical analysis, Six Sigma, PFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance company-wide QMS aligned with ISO standards.
• Drive a strong quality culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Own internal, external, customer and certification audits.
• Ensure zero major non-conformities and strong audit performance.
• Lead Management Review and governance.
• Identify gaps and implement robust, scalable systems and procedures.
• Champion methodologies such as PDCA, DMAIC, 5S, RCA.
• Interface with customers, certification bodies and regulators.
• Strengthen supplier quality and customer confidence.
• Lead and develop a high-performing QMS team.
• Drive capability building through structured training and systems adoption.

What You’ll Be Driving

QMS Leadership & Strategy

Lead, develop and continuously enhance the company-wide QMS aligned with international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 27001)

Drive a strong quality culture and continuous improvement mindset

Audit & Compliance Excellence

Own and lead all internal, external, customer and certification audits

Ensure zero major non-conformities and strong audit performance

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Quality / Manufacturing or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (EMS preferred)
• Strong hands‑on experience managing multi-standard QMS frameworks
• Proven track record in audit management, CAPA and system improvement
• Experience with e-QMS, statistical analysis, Six Sigma, PFMEA
