Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of quality assurance experience in PCB manufacturing, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA, 8D, PPAP.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Read and write Chinese; Mandarin, English and Malay proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Team to ensure products meet internal quality yield and customer requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and related standards.

The Quality Manager leads the DMI Quality Team ensuring that all manufactured product meet DMI internal quality yield and those required by customers. This position oversees quality systems, in process quality control, final quality assurance, supplier quality, and customer complaint management.

The Quality Manager needs to drive continuous quality improvement across the factory to enhance overall quality performance and ensure compliance to customers requirements.

Quality Systems (QMS) & Compliance

• Maintain and enhance the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with:
  1. VDA 6.3 - Process Audit Standard (automotive industry)
  2. IATF 16949 - Automotive QMS
  3. ISO 9001 - General Quality Management Systems
  4. ISO 14001 - Environmental Management Systems
• Develop, review, and update quality policies, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation including Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and MSA.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
• Participate in internal audits, supplier evaluations, customer audits, and certification audits.

Audit Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all external audits, including customer quality audits, IATF 16949 / ISO9001/ISO14001 certification audits, and DOE environmental and Bomba inspections.

• Manage supplier quality performance and incoming material inspections.
• Ensure effective handling of customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular in process quality audits.
• Responsibility will cover the full spectrum of Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance functions.
• Training Quality Team to promote growth within DMI.
• Responsible with preparation internal documents before customer onsite audits.
• Managing corporate quality goals, such as internal manufacturing quality yields in each process.
• Improve internal quality to reduce customer returns and implement 8D corrected actions in manufacturing analysis.

Team Development & Training

• Ensure QA staff are trained in quality tools, systems, and standards.
• - Lead and mentor the QA/QC team (IQC, IPQC, OQC). Conduct regular training for staff on quality standards and environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability across all departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of Quality assurance work experience as Quality System Manager Experience within the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Familiar with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA, 8D, PPAP.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to readand write in Chinese.
