Job summary

CASTCO SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance leadership professional to establish and drive the department's objectives, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.

You will lead audits, manage QMS, oversee incoming and finished product checks, analyze defects, and mentor a team to deliver high-quality casting parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of quality management experience in aluminum die casting or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of casting defects, quality systems, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, and 8D.
• Familiar with CMM, measuring instruments, and metallurgical inspection.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action management.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Quality tools: 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, 8D.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, and records are properly maintained.

Job description

This is a Quality Assurance leadership position responsible for establishing and implementing departmental objectives, goals, and procedures. The role oversees all aspects of quality management, from incoming material inspection through outgoing product quality, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Key responsibilities

Ensure departmental objective, goals and procedures are established and implemented

Maintain and improve Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements

Lead internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits

Ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, and records are properly maintained

About you
