Job summary

Sena Diecasting Industries is seeking a qualified QA Manager to oversee APQP quality performance across the full value chain. You will establish QA procedures, lead a QA team, and coordinate corrective actions with production and suppliers.

The role focuses on improving process quality, reducing waste, and ensuring ISO-like controls through metrology and continual improvement activities. Prior leadership in diecasting is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Quality Control/QA leadership in a diecasting environment.
• Experience in managing QA team and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee APQP quality performance across the value chain.
• Establish and maintain QA procedures and control plans.
• Direct QA personnel and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead customer complaint handling and CAPA responses.
• Coordinate internal audits and supplier audits.
• Drive lean and kaizen activities to reduce waste and improve measurement systems.
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with IPQC to reduce rejection and shift quality ownership left.

1. Oversee APQP quality performance across the entire value chain to ensure robust APQP, Control plan, PPAP, FAI, MSA, SPC, and CAPA process.

2. Upkeep and servicing of CMM, spectrometer, X-ray, and related equipment.

3. Establish Quality Assurance Procedures.

4. Direct Quality Control Personnel.

5. Report Quality issues to Production Management Personnel.

6. Take part in APQP and preparation of APQP documents relating to QA

7. Handling customer complaints, circulation to production department and coordinate reply of corrective action.

8. Identify Opportunities to Enhance Efficiency.

9. Monitoring of customer satisfaction

10. Attend to customer system and process audit and coordinate reply of findings.

11. Assist in Planning yearly supplier audit and supplier site audit

12. Assist in certification body for ISO 9001 and TS 16949 audits

14. Analyse Departmental performance / company quality performance and coordinating necessary action

15. Coordinating continuous improvement inter-department to reduce Internal rejection

16. Carry out lean and kaizen activities on measurement system across department.

17. Collaboration with IPQC section to concentrate reduce department rejection.

18. Lead on shifting quality control ownership to department, quality at source

19. Set quality standards, monitor product standards and ensure implementation of quality program.

20. Further assuring production department adhering to company policy, goals and management system practices.

21. Identify worker competency, training needs

22. Oversee production quality process to ensure production cost effective, minimize waste

23. Lead quality team leader to improve process and worker efficiency, reduce waste and increase labor productivity.

24. To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by the superior

• Preferable at least 5 years experience in Quality Control.
• Preferable at least 5 years experience in Diecasting and Machining Environment.
• Preferable at least 5 years experience in managerial position and able to lead QA Department.
• Preferable at least 5 years experience in handling metrology equipments.
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Leadership is essential and able to perform continues improvement in quality measurement control in accordance to company's activities.
