Job summary

Jora Malaysia is looking for a Quality Assurance leadership professional to establish and drive the department’s objectives and procedures in a manufacturing environment focused on aluminum die casting. You will lead audits, improve the QMS, and manage inspections from incoming to outgoing goods.

You will apply root cause analysis, 8D methodology, and quality tools to reduce defects and ensure customer satisfaction while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining compliance with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years experience in quality management within aluminum die casting or other manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of casting defects, quality systems, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, and 8D methodology.
• Familiar with CMM, measuring instruments, and metallurgical inspection.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action management.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Quality tools: 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, 8D

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement departmental objectives, goals, and procedures.

• Lead internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.

• Lead 8D reports, root cause analysis, and containment activities.

Key responsibilities

Ensure departmental objective, goals and procedures are established and implemented

Maintain and improve Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements

Lead internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits

About you
