Job summary

PENTAMASTER CORPORATION BERHAD is seeking a QC Inspector for its Medical Device Manufacturing division in Malaysia. The role focuses on inspecting IQC, IPQC and FRQC in line with drawings and work instructions, and issuing NCRs for nonconformances.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Engineering or related fields and 1 year in Quality Control, with GMP exposure preferred. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate/ Diploma in Engineering / Manufacturing/Applied Science/Mathematics or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in Quality Control Department.
• Experience working in Medical Device manufacturing or Pharmaceutical based GMP environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection at Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In Process Quality Control (IPQC) and Final Release Quality Control (FRQC) as per Drawing, Test Specification and / or Work Instruction.
• Issue Nonconformance report (NCR) to production for nonconformance materials, component and product at IQC, IPQC and FRQC.
• Record inspection result into Inspection Quality record for quality analysis purpose.
• Feedback immediately to respective superior regarding quality problem.
• Maintained the filling of inspection report and cleanliness of QC working area and room.
• Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements.
• Perform any other pertinent responsibility that may be assigned occasionally as required by Top Management or immediate superior.
