Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform inspections across incoming, in-process, and final stages, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards, and customer requirements.
The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Materials Engineering and at least 2 years of QA/QC experience in related industries, plus ASNT/PCN Level II in NDT. Strong documentation and metrology skills are essential.

Perform assigned inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and customer requirements.
Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials, components, and finished products.
Verify compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and customer requirements.
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections, and coordinate or perform applicable NDT inspections where qualified.
Prepare, review, and submit inspection reports, quality records, certificates, and other required QA/QC documentation.
Ensure products are clearly identified with the correct inspection and test status throughout the manufacturing process.
Raise and report non-conformances, and support corrective and preventive actions where required.
Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring instruments are calibrated before use.
Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits when required.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of QA/QC inspection experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Precision Engineering, or Semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Possess ASNT or PCN NDT Level II certification in UT, MPI, and/or DPI. Additional NDT certifications are an advantage.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
Familiar with inspection tools and measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Experience with quality documentation, inspection reports, material traceability, and manufacturing quality records.
Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 is required. Familiarity with API Q1 and/or semiconductor quality standards is an advantage.
Previous experience in valve manufacturing, weld overlay cladding, precision machining, cleanroom manufacturing, or semiconductor equipment/components will be an added advantage.
