Array Metal (M) Sdn Berhad is seeking a diligent Quality Inspector to perform comprehensive inspection of electrical and mechanical components, ensuring conformance to engineering drawings and standards. The role involves in-process and final inspections, documentation, NCRs and CAPA activities, and close collaboration with production and maintenance teams.

Perform quality inspection on electrical, mechanical components, assemblies and finished system
Conduct functional and performance testing using tools such as multimeter, megger, caliper, micrometer, torque wrench and other QA instrument
Verify conformance to specification, drawings, standard (ISO, IEC) and customer requirements.
Record inspection and test results accurately in quality reports, checklists or digital system
Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action (CAPA)
Maintain calibration record of QA tools and equipment
Work closely with production, engineering, design and maintenance teams to resolve quality issue
Provide feedback to production team on recurring quality problems and improvement opportunities
QC Fabrication
Inspect fabrication work including cutting, welding, grinding, fitting and assembly
Ensure fabrication processes comply with engineering drawings, WPS and customer requirements
Conduct in-process and final inspection
Verify dimensions, tolerance, weld quality and surface finishing
Monitor fabrication activities to ensure workmanship quality
Report defects and recommend corrective actions
Record inspection and test results accurately in quality reports, checklists or digital system
Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action (CAPA)
Maintain calibration record of QA tools and equipment
Work closely with production, engineering, design and maintenance teams to resolve quality issue

Education:
Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, welding, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection in manufacturing, construction or engineering environment
Technical Skills
Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 9001, IEC standards, ASTM) or Fabrication process
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings , fabrication drawings and technical specifications ,
familiar using QA tools and instruments (multimeter, caliper, gauge block, etc)
Familiar with electrical safety standards and mechanical tolerances
Understanding of ISO quality system and inspection process
