Job summary

Rawak Marketing Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Executive to support and maintain food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for our frozen chicken feet packing operation for export.

The role covers daily QC inspections, GMP/HACCP compliance, and audit readiness across the production chain. You will coordinate sampling, review test results, maintain HACCP records, and drive CAPA investigations while ensuring calibration of equipment and readiness for external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2–3 years QA/QC experience in food manufacturing or processing.
• Experience in poultry, meat, frozen foods or export-oriented processing is an advantage.
• GMP, HACCP and food safety knowledge essential.
• Experience with HACCP documentation and audit preparation is advantageous.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QC inspections across production, from raw materials to dispatch.
• Monitor GMP, HACCP compliance and export requirements.
• Verify critical food safety parameters like temperature, weight, packaging, and storage.
• Conduct inspections of production areas, hygiene, sanitation and pest control.
• Maintain HACCP, QA/QC documentation and export records.
• Coordinate sampling with external labs, review results, and follow up on unsatisfactory results.
• Investigate non-conformities and CAPA with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure equipment calibration and fit-for-use.
• Support internal and external audits and prepare required documents.
• Act as QAQC representative during external audits.

Job description

We are looking for a QAQC Executive to support and maintain the food safety, quality and regulatory requirements of our frozen chicken feet packing operation for export.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and verify daily QC inspections throughout the production process, including raw material receiving, processing, packing, blast freezing, frozen storage and dispatch.
• Monitor product quality, GMP, hygiene and HACCP requirements to ensure compliance with company procedures, product specifications, applicable regulatory requirements and export requirements.
• Verify critical food safety and quality parameters, including product temperature, processing conditions, packing weight, packaging integrity, product identification and frozen storage conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections of production areas, personnel hygiene, housekeeping, sanitation and pest control, and follow up on identified issues.
• Maintain and update HACCP, QA/QC, traceability and export-related food safety documentation and records.
• Coordinate product and environmental sampling with approved external laboratories, review test results and follow up on unsatisfactory results.
• Identify and investigate non-conformities, quality deviations and customer or supplier complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure measuring and monitoring equipment is properly calibrated or verified and fit for use.
• Coordinate and support internal audits, customer audits, certification audits and regulatory inspections, including preparation of required documents and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Act as a key QAQC representative during external audits and provide relevant HACCP, QA/QC and food safety information and documentation.

About you

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in food manufacturing or food processing.
• Experience in poultry, meat, frozen food or export-oriented food processing is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety requirements and quality management systems.
• Experience in HACCP documentation and audit preparation is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken. Mandarin is an advantage.
• Responsible, disciplined, and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
