Job summary

Liwo Bina is seeking a QA/QC Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities at site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and QMS. You will monitor QA/QC deliverables, prepare inspection plans, and liaise with clients and consultants.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of construction experience, and CSWIP 3.1+ certification. Strong presentation and independent work capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years in construction is an advantage.
• CSWIP 3.1 or higher certification preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong presentation and meeting-chairing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site works and coordinate related activities at the construction site.
• Monitor QA/QC deliverables to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepare and monitor Inspection Test Plans.
• Attend meetings and liaise with client/consultant.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) and project standards.
• Review method statements to meet project requirements.
• Prepare QAQC reports and other project-related documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Site supervision and arrangement of site works and other activities that are carried out at the construction site;
• Monitor QAQC deliverables to ensure works are carried out as per plan and conformed to specifications;
• Prepare Inspection Test Plan and monitor work as per Inspection Test Plan;
• Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/consultant;
• Ensure discipline and good morale maintained at the construction site;
• Ensure quality of construction work is always maintained and practice onsite;
• Ensure quality of work is up to specified requirements or engineering standard;
• Review and lead preparation of QAQC report and other relevant reports for the project;
• Ensure work execution as per Quality Management System (QMS);
• Review Method of Statement to meet project requirement or specification;
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent;
• Min. 3 - 5 years working experience in the construction industry is an added advantage.
• preferable CSWIP 3.1 and above
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Good presentation skill, able to chair meeting with Client on behalf company.
