We are looking for an experienced QAQC Engineer (Civil & Structural) to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the quality of Civil & Structural works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and relevant industry requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure Civil & Structural works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project quality requirements.
Monitor and control the quality of materials and workmanship at site.
Review method statements, shop drawings and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate and witness site inspections, material inspections and testing activities.
Identify non-conformance issues, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection checklists and quality-related documentation.
Ensure all construction activities comply with project quality standards, ISO requirements and client specifications.
Monitor site workmanship and material quality to ensure the required standards are consistently maintained.
Liaise with consultants, contractors and subcontractors on quality-related matters and coordinate the resolution of site quality issues.
Review technical drawings, shop drawings and specifications to ensure construction works are carried out accordingly.
Maintain proper QA/QC records and documentation throughout the project.
Support project handover activities by preparing QA/QC dossiers, inspection records and as-built documentation.
Assist in monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of the project's Quality Management System (QMS).
Perform any other quality-related duties assigned by the superior.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in construction or Civil & Structural projects.
Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures, particularly for Civil & Structural works.
Good understanding of construction standards, codes and project specifications.
Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant industry codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
Good understanding of site inspection, material quality and construction workmanship requirements.
Familiarity with QMS and QA/QC documentation processes.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and effectively coordinate with consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
Willing to work at the project site and travel when required.
