Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to oversee quality assurance and control across construction projects in Malaysia. You will implement QA/QC activities, conduct site inspections, review documentation, and coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field, 3+ years of QA/QC experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in QA/QC within the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and quality management systems.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and managing QA/QC documentation such as IR, MIR, RFI, NCR, test reports, and material approvals.
- Able to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and ISO 9001 Quality Management System will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work at project sites and travel as required.
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities throughout all phases of construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure all works, materials, and workmanship comply with approved drawings, project specifications, relevant standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare, review, maintain, and control QA/QC documentation, including Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Requests for Inspection (RFI), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), test reports, calibration records, and project quality records.
- Coordinate inspections and quality-related activities with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Identify quality issues, investigate non-conformities, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and monitor their implementation until closure.
- Ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected and approved before installation and maintain proper material records.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), project specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of QA/QC processes and recommend continuous improvements to enhance project quality.
- Prepare periodic QA/QC reports and maintain complete project quality documentation until project completion and handover.
- Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
