Job summary

Kayangan Kemas Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to plan and carry out QAQC activities for assigned projects, review drawings, and ensure compliance with project standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in QAQC, ability to read technical docs, and knowledge of ITPs, inspection reports, and ISO 9001; travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QAQC or related engineering field.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Familiar with QAQC documentation such as ITP, Method Statement, Inspection Report and Checklist
• Good knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage.
• Willing to travel or be assigned to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out QAQC activities for assigned projects

• Prepare and implement quality documents such as Inspection Test Plan, checklist and inspection report.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings and project standards.
• Monitor materials, workmanship, and installation activities to ensure quality compliance
• Coordinate testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up on non-conformance issues until closure.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on quality matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for QAQC activities
• Support internal and external quality audits when required.
• Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement within the project team.
