Job summary

NMH ENERGY SDN BHD is seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer to supervise site quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. The role will involve coordinating QA/QC activities, reviewing test plans, and ensuring materials meet project specifications.

You will collaborate with clients and consultants, monitor QAQC deliverables, and drive non-conformance actions while maintaining quality management across projects in Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in quality control, site supervision, or quality management.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and inspection requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction documentation systems.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good presentation skills and ability to chair client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision and arrangement of site works and other activities at the construction site.
• Monitor QAQC deliverables to ensure works comply with plans and specifications.
• Prepare Inspection Test Plan and monitor work as per plan.
• Review and lead preparation of QAQC reports and related project documents.
• Attend meetings and liaise with client/consultant.
• Monitor incoming materials and verify compliance with project requirements.
• Identify non-conformance issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and verify compliance.
• Ensure work execution aligns with QMS and company standards.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/consultant;
• Monitor incoming materials and verify compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Identify non-conformance issues and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and verify compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure work execution as per Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with project and company standards;
• Other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in construction quality control, site supervision, or quality management.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ISO 9001 standards, and inspection requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction documentation systems.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Good presentation skill, able to chair meeting with Client on behalf company.
• Applicant must be willing to work in UTM, Johor Bahru.
