Job summary

Flexi Components Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC professional to develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures across our manufacturing operations. You will lead incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.

You will review engineering drawings, perform root cause analysis, drive CAPA, and coordinate ISO 9001 audits while collaborating with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to continuously improve quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience in manufacturing/precision engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Proficient with vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges; CMM preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and inspection procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor production processes, identify non-conformities, and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), audit reports, and quality records.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management systems.
• Work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality-related issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Use precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy and product conformity.
• Train and support production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices to achieve continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

About you

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (preferred).

Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and inspection procedures.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
