Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking detail-oriented QC/QA personnel to support production with process documentation, equipment calibration, material inspections and workplace safety.

The role involves monitoring production conformance, reporting non-conforming products, performing FAI and GR&R studies, and contributing to continuous improvement with the QA Engineer. Fresh graduates or 1–2 years’ experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years in related field.
• Maths grade at least C in SPM/SPMV.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO13485 and IATF16949 is advantageous.
• Familiar with 5S, safety and health concepts.
• Must be responsible, quick learner, attentive and computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proficient use of process documents (flow charts, procedures, work instructions) before tasks.
• Verify equipment calibration and proper storage/maintenance.
• Verify incoming material certificates before release to Store.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor production for conformance to specifications.
• Communicate inspection results and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare reports for non-conforming products.
• Perform FAI and GR&R studies for new projects.
• Suggest improvements to inspection processes (5S, CIP) with QA Engineer.
• Maintain proper filing for documents.
• Ensure checklists/forms comply with EMS/QMS.
• Perform other duties as required.

• 1) Ensure proficient know-how and use of process documents e.g. flow charts / Procedures / Work Instruction before the tasks are performed.
• 2) Ensure equipment is calibrated within the required interval period.
• 3) Ensure that measuring equipment is stored adequately and maintained in good working condition.
• 4) Verify of incoming material certificate before release to Store warehouse.
• 5) Ensure cleanliness and safety at the workplace.
• 6) Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to specifications.
• 7) Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
• 8) Prepare reports for non-conformance products.
• 9) Perform FAI and GR&R studies for new project.
• 10) Provide ideas / suggestions to improve inspection processes, in consultation with QA Engineer e.g. 5S, CIP
• 11) To maintain proper filling for all respective document.
• 12) Ensure the checklist/forms in use are compliance to EMS/QMS.
• 13) Perform other tasks / duties as assigned or required.

• 1) SPM/SPMV & above. Fresh graduate or having 1-2 years of working experience in related field.
• 2) Maths must at least grade ‘C’ in SPM/SPMV.
• 3) Having knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 & IATF16949 is added advantage.
• 4) Knowledge in 5S, Safety and Health is added advantage.
