Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA Inspector to conduct daily inspections, testing, and analysis of manufactured parts and materials against drawings and specifications. You will set up inspection equipment, compile data, and report quality issues to the QA Engineer.
You will work with production teams to resolve non-conformities, perform first piece checks, and ensure ISO 9001 and 5S compliance while maintaining accurate documentation and timely revisions.

Conduct daily inspections, testing, and analysis of new, existing, and competitive products, including raw materials and finished goods, using appropriate inspection equipment.
Ensure that all daily quality testing and activities are carried out as per established standards.
Perform First Piece Checks and additional product inspections as required.
Assist the QA Engineer in following up and coordinating resolutions for detected product quality issues.
Evaluate fabricated and finished parts received from machinists and vendors to ensure compliance with drawing specifications.
Provide detailed reports on quality issues related to manufacturing processes.
Work closely with the production team for resampling when non-conformities are identified.
Approve parts that conform to specifications and reject, identify, and document all non-compliant parts.
Ensure that document and drawing revisions comply with company standards and are updated in a timely, clear, and organized manner.
Set up and configure inspection equipment/programs for parts inspection.
Prepare graphs, charts, and reports based on inspection data.
Report non-conforming inspected parts to the QA Engineer for further action.
Cover duties of colleagues in the QA department when necessary.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, company procedures, safety protocols, and 5S requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess computer skills.
Familiar with microscopes and measurement equipment such as micrometers, measuring scopes, and other precision instruments.
Strong basic math skills, including calculations of averages and percentages.
Ability to follow department procedures and work instructions with minimal supervision.
Capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards.
Strong ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from diverse groups.
Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work rotating shifts as required.
Ability to work overtime when needed to meet production deadlines.
