Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions – Perai, Penang is seeking fresh graduates with a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Mechanical to join the QA team. You should know how to use QC measuring equipment and have basic GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.

You will prepare and extend working instructions, assist the QA Leader, perform FAI inspections for NPI components and tooling, and support continuous improvement. 12-hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Mechanical.
• Know how to use QC measuring equipment.
• GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and extend existing working instructions for incoming and OGP.
• Assist incoming QA Leader in occasions whereby leader not around.
• Conduct measurement FAI inspection for NPI component, new tooling, transferred tool, new supplier or any changes in supplier tooling.
• Buyoff incoming samples FPIR dimension and other defined critical dimension.
• Assist Quality Engineer in analysis and problem solving.
• To handle other tasks when requested by superior.

Able to work shift 12 hours (7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am).
