Din Tai Fung Malaysia is seeking a QA Executive to join our Quality Assurance team. You will report to the QA Manager and help ensure restaurant evaluations are consistent, accurate, and timely.

You will drive HACCP compliance, support restaurant teams, and assist leadership in monitoring quality across our growing footprint of outlets. Strong auditing, communication, and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years in food/restaurant industry; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong auditing, troubleshooting and computer skills.
• Excellent communication; English required; Mandarin a plus.
• Physically fit to travel to outlet locations; personal transport advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Standards & Auditing: evaluate restaurants against defined operation and quality standards.
• Operations Support & Coaching: partner with restaurant managers for improvements.
• Food Safety & HACCP Management: review HACCP docs; lead the HACCP team; handle food safety complaints.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Executive to join our Quality Assurance team. Reporting directly to the QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all of our restaurants are evaluated consistently, accurately, and within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Standards & Auditing: Conduct timely restaurant evaluations performance against defined operation and quality standards to ensure 100% standards execution.
• Operations Support & Coaching: Build strong working relationships with restaurant managers, providing ongoing communication, analysis, and on-site coaching to drive operational improvements.
• Food Safety & HACCP Management: Review and update HACCP documentation, lead the HACCP team to maintain certifications for specific restaurants, and investigate/handle food safety-related customer complaints.
• Compliance & Issue Resolution: Coordinate directly with the QA Manager to ensure prompt follow-up on regulatory issues, audits, customer complaints, and information requests
• Reporting & Collaboration: Communicate restaurant performance metrics with superiors on a timely basis and assist leadership in monitoring and follow-up across all quality-related issues.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 3-5 years and above of working experience in the food or restaurant industry; enthusiastic fresh graduates are also highly encouraged to apply.
• Strong auditing proficiency, troubleshooting abilities, and standard computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in English is required, and the ability to speak, read, or write Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Sharp observation skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Physically fit to travel across our outlet locations; possessing personal transportation is a strong advantage.
