Responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through inspections, testing, and collaboration with production team.
To conduct inspections and testing regularly on raw material, work in progress parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standard, specifications, and safety regulations. This includes evaluating products functionality, size, color, and texture.
Working closely with production, engineering, and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
To provide training to production staff on quality measures and proper equipment usage.
To maintain accurate records of inspections and test outcomes, which helps track improvements and identify areas of concern within the production process.
Support and analyze data from tests and inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement in the production process (i.e. to promote corrective actions and problem solving to enhance product quality).
Involved in the implementation and maintenance of quality control system, ensuring that all processes adhere to established quality standards and regulations.
To ensure all processes follow government regulations, to play an important role in maintaining the company’s compliance with industry standards.
Diploma or higher learning in relevant discipline; degree in engineering field will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3-year experience in Die Casting Injection field, CNC machining area, manufacturing segment or equivalence.
Experience in handling quality inspection tools like: CMM, Micrometer, Visual Inspection machine, pin gauges etc.
Knowledge and practical skills in Problem Solving, SPC, Six Sigma and FMEA.
Analytical skills with the ability to assess processes, identify issues, and devise solutions.
Communication skills: effectively communicate findings and recommendations to team members and management.
Attention to detail: paying attention to detail for identifying defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
