Job summary

TFW ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to oversee product quality from development through packaging, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

You will lead inspections, coordinate testing, document results, and drive continuous improvements with cross-functional teams. The role requires hands-on testing, MDR submissions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety in production areas.

Qualifications

• High school/ Diploma/ Engineering Diploma or equivalent, along with On-Job-Training
• Cerification in quality control/ inspector is preferred.

Job description

To ensure the quality and compliance of the company’s products by participating in each stage of a product’s creation, beginning with development and ending with packaging.

Perform and coordinate inspections and determine quality assurance testing models from materials until finished goods, ensure conformance to Project specification.

Check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products for a company, as well as the production procedures.

Identifying problems in products and processes.

Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

Report the problem to upper-level management, as well as to modify the practices to lower-level workers in order to avoid repeating the problem until a solution can be found.

Suggests/ recommend solutions/ improvement, often working with a cross-functional team to develop a long-term fix to ensure quality control.

Develop and determine all standard to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee existing testing methods and develop new ones (if necessary).

Review quality of all materials and ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with department for all material procurement and maintain quality of materials.

Supervise effective implement of all inspection & Test schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality assessment on processes.

Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards to ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems.

Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure maintenance of optimal quality and prepare reports to evaluate performance.

Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirement.

Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance and recommend corrective actions for all processes.

Read drawing, plan, and specifications to understand the requirements.

Monitor the operations & out-source processes, to ensure they meet the approved systems, communicating any required changes to the relevant party.

Performing necessary inspection and test using the suitable measuring tools, such as material inspection, dimension, alignment, traceability and identification, NDT results, and so on, to verified the conformance of the outcomes.

Hold/ reject the items that fail to meet the quality expectations.

Documented & maintained the detailed inspection records, as well as relevant additional information, and various metrics such as the number of defective products produced if any.

Ensure the completion & submission of MDR on time.

Create reports for the quality manager to highlight issues, detail the number of defective products being produced, and explain where improvements can be made.

Monitor production areas, ensuring they meet health and safety compliance, and check that all goods meet the necessary production standards.

Qualifications/ Education:
