Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for a QA/QC professional to support project quality assurance in the Central Region, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Shah Alam, Selangor.

The role covers developing PQMPs, implementing QA/QC procedures, and coordinating with project teams. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and 3–7 years in oil and gas QA/QC, with familiarity of ISO 9001, ASME, API, and related standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AWS, ANSI, ISO 9001.
• Experience with audits, ITP, NCR/CAPA, and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PQMP and QA/QC procedures.
• Implement quality management systems, training, and audits.
• Manage NCR, CAPA, and ensure timely close-out.
• Monitor QC inspection and testing per ITPs and specs.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and Oil & Gas quality requirements compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients on quality matters.

Job description

Work Location:Central Region – Seremban, Negeri Sembilan / Shah Alam, Selangor

Contract Duration:Tentatively 3-4 months (short term contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Quality Management Procedures (PQMP) and QA/QC procedures.
• Implement quality management systems, training, and project audits.
• Manage NCR, Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and ensure timely close-out.
• Monitor QC inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved ITPs, project specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant Oil & Gas quality requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients on quality-related matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AWS, ANSI, ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Experience in project quality audits, ITP, NCR/CAPA, and quality management systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• CQE (ASQ), CQA/CQPr (CQI), CQIP (ACI) or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
