Job summary

FBG Builder Sdn Bhd is hiring a QAQC Engineer for PMK Site Project in Kuala Lumpur and AHBC Suria 2 Site Project in Penang. Two positions are available to ensure quality across construction activities from planning to inspection.

You will monitor QESH Management System implementation, prepare PQP and QA procedures, conduct internal audits, coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors, and maintain QAQC documentation.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2-5 years of proven experience as a QAQC Engineer.
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Architectural or related discipline.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; good communication and teamwork.

• Prepare and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and project-specific quality procedures.
• Conduct internal quality audits at the project level.
• Carry out PDI inspections, Site Quality Checking (SQC), and Site Quality Audits (SQA).
• Inspect ongoing works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and QLASSIC requirements.
• Coordinate and witness inspections with consultants and clients.
• Raise, monitor, and close NCRs and corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractors' workmanship and ensure quality requirements.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients on quality matters.
• Prepare and maintain QAQC documentation, inspection records, and reports.
• Assist during external audits and certification assessments.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the implementation of the QESH Management System at the project site.

Prepare and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and project specific quality procedures.

Conduct internal quality audits at the project level.

Carry out PDI inspections, Site Quality Checking (SQC), and Site Quality Audits (SQA).

Inspect ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and QLASSIC requirements.

Coordinate and witness inspections with consultants and clients.

Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective actions.

Monitor subcontractors' workmanship and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.

Conduct QESH-MS awareness and quality training.

Prepare and maintain QAQC documentation, inspection records, and reports.

Assist during external audits and certification assessments.

Requirements:

Preferably with 2-5 of proven experience as a QAQC Engineer year relevant working experience.

Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Architectural or a related discipline.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and fast paced environment with from deadlines.

Required Skills(s): Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, good communication, Teamwork

Must be able to work under minimum supervision and computer literate.

Proficiency in preparing and reviewing PQPs, Method Statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)

Strong knowledge of QAQC procedures, QLASSIC requirements and construction quality practices.

Salary Range : RM 3,800 - RM 5,000
