Job summary

Elsa Talent is seeking a QA/QC professional for a short-term contract in Malaysia. The role focuses on developing and maintaining PQMP and QA/QC procedures, implementing quality systems, and managing NCR/CAPA with timely close-out across projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in QA/QC within Oil & Gas, familiarity with ASME/API/AWS/ANSI and ISO 9001 standards, and strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-7 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AWS, ANSI, ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Experience in project quality audits, ITP, NCR/CAPA, and quality management systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• CQE (ASQ), CQA/CQPr (CQI), CQIP (ACI) or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Quality Management Procedures (PQMP) and QA/QC procedures.
• Implement quality management systems, training, and project audits.
• Manage NCR, Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and ensure timely close-out.
• Monitor QC inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved ITPs, project specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant Oil & Gas quality requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients on quality-related matters.
