Sumi-Tech Industrial Supplies Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC Inspector to perform thorough visual inspections of incoming materials and ensure compliance with quality standards for steel scaffolding and related building materials. The role involves dimensional checks with precision tools, meticulous documentation, and data entry into QA systems.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in QC, possess SPM/ Diploma/ Degree qualifications, and be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Physical Inspection:Perform detailed visual inspections of incoming materials (e.g., raw materials, components, parts) to ensure they are free from defects, damage, or contamination.

Dimensional Checks:Use tools such as calliper, micrometre & measurement tape to verify that parts or materials meet required specifications and tolerances.

Documentation and Reporting:

Record Inspection Results:Document all inspection results, including batch numbers, lot numbers, test results, and any non-conformance findings.

Data Entry:Input inspection data into quality management systems or databases to maintain accurate records of incoming materials.

Quality Standards and Compliance:

Adhere to Specifications and Standards:Ensure that incoming materials meet the company’s quality standards, as well as any industry-specific regulations or certifications.

Inspect for Packaging and Labelling Compliance:Verify that packaging, labelling, and product documentation according to the company’s requirements and regulatory standards.

Tools and Equipment Calibration:

Ensure Calibration:Use measuring and testing tools that are calibrated and maintained according to required standards.

Report Equipment Malfunctions:Report any issues with inspection tools or equipment to the maintenance team to ensure continued accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

Possessed a minimum of SPM, Diploma & Degree qualification.

Good communication skill in English, Bahasa Malaysia.

At least 3 years of working experience in QC field will be an added advantage.

Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
