Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to develop and maintain project quality procedures and systems within the Oil & Gas sector. The role covers audits, CAPA/NCR handling, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable codes.

The successful candidate will drive QC activities, coordinate with project teams and clients, and contribute to documentation and close-out of quality actions on a short-term contract in the Central Region of Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-7 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AWS, ANSI, ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Experience in project quality audits, ITP, NCR/CAPA, and quality mgmt systems.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• CQE (ASQ), CQA/CQPr (CQI), CQIP (ACI) or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PQMP and QA/QC procedures.
• Implement quality management systems, training, and project audits.
• Manage NCR, CAPA and ensure timely close-out.
• Monitor QC inspection and testing per ITPs, specs and codes.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and Oil & Gas quality requirements compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and clients on quality matters.
