Ann Joo is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan and inspection plans across infrastructure projects. You will conduct inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, standards, and contractual requirements.

This role involves implementing and monitoring the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and quality control procedures throughout the project. You will conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all construction and installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities

Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all construction and installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements
Review method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents prior to commencement of works
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters
Monitor and inspect civil, electrical, and mechanical works including equipment foundations, battery container installation, cable works, electrical equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities
Verify materials, equipment, and components delivered to site comply with approved specifications, certificates, and project requirements
Prepare, maintain, and manage quality documentation including Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Inspection & Test Records (ITR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective Action Reports (CAR), test reports, and as-built documentation
Identify quality issues, defects, and non-conformities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively
Monitor subcontractor workmanship and ensure all works are carried out according to approved method statements, drawings, and quality procedures
Maintain proper records of inspection reports, test results, calibration certificates, and quality documentation for project handover
About you
Minimum Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering or its related field
1 year of experience as QA/QC Engineer in large scale infrastructure projects
Good communication and strong problem-solving skills
Good report writing skills
Willing to travel to other site projects if required
NTSP holder is an added advantage
Experience in TNB projects is an added advantage
