Job summary

ELSA in Malaysia seeks a QA/QC professional for a short-term contract to develop and maintain PQMP and QA/QC procedures on oil & gas projects.

You will implement quality management systems, coordinate audits, manage NCR/CAPA, and ensure close-out per ITPs and ISO 9001 standards, working with project teams, contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiar with ASME, API, AWS, ANSI, ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Experience in project quality audits, ITP, NCR/CAPA, and quality management systems.
• CQE (ASQ), CQA/CQPr (CQI), CQIP (ACI) or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PQMP and QA/QC procedures.

Work Location: Central Region – Seremban, Negeri Sembilan / Shah Alam, Selangor

Contract Duration: Tentatively 3-4 months (short term contract)

• Manage NCR, Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and ensure timely close-out.
• Monitor QC inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved ITPs, project specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant Oil & Gas quality requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients on quality-related matters.

Requirements
