Architectural Facade Specialist Co. in Malaysia seeks a QA/QC Engineer to develop, implement and monitor quality procedures for aluminium fabrication. You will conduct inspections, investigate non-conformities and drive corrective actions to meet ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Collaboration with Production and other departments is essential to improve processes and product quality. Experience in metal fabrication, 3–5 years in QA/QC, and proficiency with Excel and QC tools are preferred.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• 3–5 years QA/QC experience in manufacturing/aluminium.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Familiar with QC tools and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and monitor QC procedures for materials, processes and finished products.
• Conduct inspections and investigate non-conformities.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor scrap, rework and rejection rates.
• Assist OSH committee and maintain QMS documentation.
• Collaborate with Production to improve processes.

Descripción del empleo

Develop, implement and monitor quality control procedures for incoming materials, production processes and finished products.

Ensure aluminium fabrication and assembly processes comply with established quality standards and customer requirements.

Conduct quality inspections, identify defects and investigate non-conformities.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor product rejection, rework and scrap rates, and recommend quality improvement initiatives.

Work closely with Production and relevant departments to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

Participate in production process improvement, time studies and productivity analysis.

Maintain ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and compliance.

Participate in ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Audits and follow up on audit findings.

Assist the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee as Secretary, including preparing meeting minutes and following up on action items.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in manufacturing, metal fabrication or aluminium industry.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Familiar with quality control tools, root cause analysis.

Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
