Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Document Controller to maintain and control QA/QC documents, and support digitalization within QA/QC operations. You will manage electronic filing, archival and database updates to enhance traceability and retrieval.

The role also supports audits (ISO 9001/14001) and workflow automation, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in a related field and 2–3 years of relevant experience in document control.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in document control, records management and quality system documentation.
• Knowledge of digital document management systems, electronic records and paper less workflow implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and database maintenance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements, documentation and audit processes.
• Experience in maintaining and renewing product certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control QA/QC documents, including procedures, work instructions, inspection standards, specifications and quality records.
• Ensure effective document revision control and distribution of the latest approved documents.
• Support implementation of paperless systems and digitalization initiatives within QA/QC operations.
• Manage electronic filing, document archival and database updates to improve document retrieval and traceability.
• Support internal and external audits, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and customer audits.
• Assist in implementing workflow automation and digital tools to improve departmental efficiency.
