Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to develop and implement quality control processes across projects. You will inspect, test, and document results to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, while maintaining traceable records for audits.

The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across site and office environments. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a high school diploma, SPM, or equivalent.
• Quality-related certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, CQE, or CQA will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in QA/QC, quality assurance, quality control, site inspection, or a similar role.
• Prior experience in data center, construction, cabling, electrical, ELV, M&E, or related project environments will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking skills.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, well-organized, result-driven, and able to work independently.
• Capable of working under minimal supervision and delivering results within tight deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess own transportation and be willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, establish, and document quality control processes to ensure consistency and compliance across project activities.
• Review and analyze workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement effective process enhancements.
• Conduct inspections and testing on products, materials, works, or services to ensure they meet project specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, testing results, audit findings, and quality-related documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Communicate quality findings clearly and elevate major issues or non-conformances to the relevant teams for corrective action.
• Ensure completed works or finished products meet customer requirements, project specifications, and applicable regulatory or industry standards.
• Identify potential quality risks and propose preventive or corrective action plans to minimize project quality issues.
• Conduct regular site or process audits to ensure adherence to approved procedures, standards, and quality control requirements.
• Work closely with project, site, technical, and operations teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
