Job summary

GT-MAX Plastic Industries (M) SDN BHD is seeking a QC/QA professional to monitor testing and inspection processes, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You will supervise QC staff, verify testing equipment, and coordinate with customers during audits.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in manufacturing, a Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, and fluency in Malay, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in related field; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Multitasking ability and meeting tight deadlines expected.
• Proficiency in Malay, Mandarin and English for diverse client communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor testing and inspection processes to ensure quality and delivery requirements.
• Supervise QC supervisor and QC Inspectors to segregate non-conforming products.
• Ensure testing facilities and devices are calibrated and operational.
• Coordinate with customers during audits for audit findings and corrective actions.
• Investigate and propose corrective action or continuous improvement measures.

Responsibility

Monitor Testing & Inspection Processes to ensure its quality & delivery requirements are achieved.

Monitor QC supervisor and QC Inspector to segregate NC products.

Ensure the QC supervisor and QC inspectors are competent in carried out their work.

Ensure the Testing Facilities Used are always in operational condition.

Ensure all the testing & inspection devices are being calibration or verified accepted before being distributed for use.

Investigate & propose Corrective Action or Initiate Improvement Action as & when required.

Involve with customer audit and external party audit for customer complaint process (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SMETA, GRS, HACCP, etc)

Job Requirements

At least 1-2 years of experience in the related field. Experience in manufacturing industry would be an added advantage for this position.

Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must posses at least Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering or related professional qualification.

Required Language(s) : Bahasa Mandarin & Malaysia & English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Able to multi-tasking and meet tight deadline.
