Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control and halal compliance management.

Strong knowledge of Halal & HACCP

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Experienced in coordinating with regulatory authorities, Group QA/QC teams, and customers, providing clear and timely compliance guidance.

Requirement

Responsibility

• To check the production schedule and ensure that all preparations for the daily production are carried out accordingly.
• Responsible to check on production workers in food safety issue, personal hygiene and procedure compliance whenever necessary.
• Conducting on-site inspections (mixing, frying, cooking etc) at least 3 times per section and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Overseeing production processes and directs an entire production operation (from raw material receiving, store keeping, production processes, packing until products transferred to warehouse)
• Conducting daily packing works and verify packaging, labelling, and specification execution before release.
• Conducting daily/weekly raw materials preparation.
• To ensure that the production process is running as per standard operating procedures.
• Plan and organizing weekly production schedules with production manager and production supervisor.
• Plan and prioritize products to be produced in efficiently and effectively to ensure production are on time and ensure that the final products meet the quality standards and customer specifications.
• Liaise with other departments to analyze and minimize the machine downtime possibilities.
• To recommend changes in workflow, operations and equipment to maximize production efficiency.
• To facilitate continuous improvement in process, labour productivity, cost reduction.
• To do trouble-shooting and analyzed daily operational problem, investigate problems, analyze root causes and define resolutions.
• To supervise cleaning and tidying in the production areas.
• To identify the production problems and improve the production processes; develop new and cost-effective ways to improve quality and productivity.
• To cooperate with production manager and other departments in troubleshooting and experimental works.
• To enforce safe working environment and compliance in the factory.
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance to the food safety policy and other standards established as per HALAL & HACCP.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records accurately.
• Maintain inspection checklists, SOPs, and quality records.

Factory & Warehouse Coordination

• Conduct warehouse inspections and support stock monitoring.
• Approves incoming and outgoing materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Provide guidance to all the workers(including production workers, storekeepers and deliveryman), on implementation and improvement of the QC systems and activities.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedure; complying with legal regulations.

Management & Documentation

• To be responsible for maintaining inspection test records, monthly report and quality analysis reports e.g. HACCP, Halal & etc
• Supports the Management in dealing with the customers/suppliers for all the quality matters.
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; send to calibration/repairs.
• Conduct staff training, simplification of work/systems flows.
• Responsible to conduct and support on internal/ external or 3rd party audit.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time

People Management

• Involve in manpower planning and hiring, ensures quality & sufficient workforce
• Handling grievances, complaints, operator's concerns and disciplinary issue.
• To train or assist senior workers in training new workers and to assess their progress.
• To plan and assign daily job duties to workers to meet production goals.
• To provide on-job training to workers to meet production goals.
• To instill discipline on the workers.
