Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve the Company's Quality Management System, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and ensure effective implementation and compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
- Develop and establish the complete quality control process covering Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC).
- Lead and participate in the investigation of quality issues and non-conformities using appropriate quality tools, including 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, SPC, and CAPA.
- Take ownership of customer complaint handling, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, follow‑up, effectiveness verification, and timely closure.
- Coordinate and support internal, external, customer, and certification audits, ensuring audit preparation, execution, corrective actions, and timely closure of findings.
- Establish and maintain the management system for inspection, testing, and measurement equipment, including calibration, maintenance, equipment records, and monitoring of calibration validity.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Tooling, and other departments to identify quality issues, improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the Quality team, including setting quality objectives, providing training and coaching, and promoting quality awareness across the organization.
- Work closely with our China sister company and other overseas teams on quality-related matters, technical discussions, quality standards, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in quality training in China and support the implementation of quality systems, standards, and best practices locally.
- Prepare and analyze quality data, trends, and reports, and provide recommendations to Management for quality improvement and risk reduction.
- As part of a growing manufacturing operation, actively participate in building the Quality function and systems from the ground up, including establishing processes, documentation, inspection standards, and team capabilities.
Requirements
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or above in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- Hands‑on experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Candidates with experience in rubber, plastic, plastic injection molding, automotive components, or related manufacturing industries are strongly preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and core quality tools, such as 8D, FMEA, CAPA, SPC, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience in handling customer complaints, quality issues, non‑conformities, audits, and corrective actions.
- Experience in establishing or improving quality systems, inspection processes, work instructions, and quality documentation will be highly advantageous.
- Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English is essential, as the successful candidate will work closely with our China sister company and communicate with Chinese‑speaking colleagues on a daily basis.
- Willing to travel to China for training and business‑related assignments when required.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality, with a hands‑on, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach.
- Candidates with strong hands‑on QA experience but limited managerial experience are encouraged to apply. Training and development will be provided to support the successful candidate in developing their leadership and management capabilities.
