Job summary

Nansin (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance and control across caster wheel and rubber-product manufacturing. You will strengthen product quality, customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.

The role involves leading the QA/QC team, ensuring materials, processes and finished goods meet specifications, and coordinating audits, CAPA and quality documentation with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quality/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Materials or Polymer Engineering.
• 8+ years quality experience in manufacturing; 3+ years in supervision.
• Experience with caster wheels, rubber products or high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CAPA, auditing, inspection, calibration and problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA/QC team and maintain the quality management system.
• Ensure materials, processes and finished products meet specs.
• Manage audits, nonconformities, CAPA and quality documentation.
• Investigate defects and customer complaints with root-cause analysis.
• Monitor quality performance and supplier quality.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and suppliers to improve processes.
• Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and maintained.

We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control for our caster wheel and rubber-product manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will strengthen product quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA/QC team and maintain an effective quality management system.
• Ensure incoming materials, production processes and finished products meet approved specifications and customer requirements.
• Manage internal and external audits, nonconforming products, corrective actions and quality documentation.
• Investigate defects and customer complaints using structured root‑cause analysis and ensure effective corrective action.
• Monitor quality performance, including defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints and supplier quality.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and suppliers to improve processes and prevent recurring problems.
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated, verified and maintained.

Requirements

• Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials or Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of quality experience in manufacturing, including 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in metal components, caster wheels, rubber products, moulding, assembly, automotive components or high‑volume manufacturing is preferred.
• Good knowledge of quality systems, auditing, CAPA, inspection, calibration and problem‑solving tools such as 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and cross‑functional problem‑solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese will be an added advantage.
