Job summary

TSM in Klang, Selangor, is seeking an experienced QA Manager to oversee quality across manufacturing and logistics. This full-time role drives QA strategy, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement to uphold ISO standards and customer satisfaction.

You will lead QA teams, collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics, maintain documentation, and report KPIs. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in QA, strong ISO knowledge, and a track record of mentoring teams in a regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of QA/quality assurance experience in manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and related standards.
• Experience auditing, inspecting and implementing CAPA.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams.
• Proficient in quality management software and MS Office.

TSM is seeking an experienced QA Manager to join our manufacturing and logistics operations in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our production and distribution processes. As QA Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance strategies that align with our company objectives and industry standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction whilst driving continuous improvement across all operational areas.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures, and protocols across manufacturing and logistics operations
• Conducting regular inspections, audits, and testing of products and processes to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement
• Managing and training QA teams to ensure consistent application of quality standards and best practices
• Investigating quality issues, root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintaining detailed quality documentation, records, and reports in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Liaising with production, logistics, and procurement teams to address quality concerns and optimise operational efficiency
• Monitoring compliance with ISO standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements
• Conducting internal and external quality audits and managing supplier quality assessments
• Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to measure and report on quality performance
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a quality-focused culture throughout the organisation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in quality assurance and control within manufacturing or logistics environments
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting audits, inspections, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Experience managing and developing QA teams with proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification)
• Certification in Quality Management (such as ASQ CQE or equivalent) is advantageous
• Familiarity with Malaysian regulatory requirements and industry practices is preferred
